Technology has moved forward, so the machines we create are now smaller, lighter and work much quieter than their excellent predecessors. However, they are just as reliable and - like them - perform well on many fronts. A multitasking machine for special tasks? Teresa is a hit!
Sewing machine Lucznik "Teresa" is an ideal, which combines the simplicity of operation and robustness of workmanship with the functionality of equipment created in the 21st century. Three features that all seamstresses appreciate - regardless of seniority and experience. Teresa is a machine suitable for learning to sew, and at the same time a high-end equipment that can be used for sewing a wide range of materials (from thin and delicate, through stretch knits and classic cotton fabrics, to thick and stiff denim and upholstery materials).
An intuitive sewing machine for everyone
Teresa has been designed with an aesthetically pleasing minimalism - you only have to look at her to figure out how to use her. A slide is mounted on the front of its body, which allows you to easily and clearly select a stitch using the dial. Above the slide is a stitch length knob (with which we can make the stitch finer), a knob that sets the stitch width and a thread tension adjuster. There is also a thread path marked on the housing, which will guide us step by step to thread the machine correctly.
With the help of the stitch width adjustment function, you will create the perfect stitch to fit the structure of your chosen fabric and adjust the needle position when sewing a straight stitch (and more). It is also easier and more precise to adjust the settings for sewing with a double needle. And speaking of double needle - it's also worth mentioning that Teresa has two built-in metal pins for thread spools to further facilitate just this type of sewing. To keep the machine properly protected during storage, the pins can be quickly and conveniently pushed inside and pulled out when we need them
We know very well how annoying it is to have to frequently aim the thread at the eye of the needle and how it can discourage further work. So we have included an automatic thread threader in the Teresa, which you just need to press and apply the thread to it. This function will also be appreciated by people with poor eyesight and reduced hand dexterity.
In turn, thanks to the function of automatic buttonhole hemming, with Teresa this activity becomes pure pleasure. All you have to do is put the right foot and measure the right size of the buttonhole, and the machine will do all the work for you. Without changing the stitch multiple times, rearranging the material and worrying if it will not come out crooked.
It can handle any challenge!
Teresa has 34 stitches, including finishing the edges of the material with a wide selection of overlock stitches , allowing you to get closer to the effect obtained on a full-size overlock machine. It also allows for curling with a coverstitch and sewing with stretch materials after using special elastic stitches. On the "Teresa" stitch chart placed conveniently at eye level, you will also find decorative stitches (e.g. shell stitch), tricot stitch, branch stitch, arc stitch, cross stitch, triple stitches (e.g. elastic straight stitch designed for sewing knitted fabrics) and underwear stitch (otherwise triple stitch - that is a stitch invaluable when sewing elastic). The number of embroidered patterns can be even greater when you get carried away by your imagination and use a double needle -because many of the sewing modes offered by "Teresa" can also be double-stitched. A very interesting, artistic effect is given by the use of threads in two contrasting colors.
The machine has an illumination of the working field, thanks to which you will carefully watch each stitch and material. What's more, the illuminating element in it is an LED, which - unlike a regular light bulb - generates light of better quality, stronger (though gentle on the eye) and allowing you to see more details.
The body and small parts of the Teresa are made of modern metal alloys, with properties corresponding to the conditions in which the components in question work or could potentially be exposed. There is also wiring inside to illuminate the work area and stitch symbol. Teresa's internal metal components are enclosed in a housing made of two types of polycarbonate plastic. Her knobs are pleasant to the touch, matte, non-slip and lie perfectly in the hand. The cohesive casing protects its interior well, and the comfortable handle allows for comfortable carrying after work.
