Mending and embroidery foot

A specialized foot that allows free embroidery with a sewing machine and mending in any direction.

The end of the foot is metal with a circular space through which you can better see the area where the stitch is embroidered.

For embroidery or quilting with this foot, it is best to use a straight stitch (lockstitch) or zig-zag.

Instructions for use:
First, hide the conveyor teeth or obscure them with a cover plate. Then, in order to install the foot, remove the snap foot lever by loosening the screw, then install the mending and embroidery foot directly on the mandrel and tighten the screw. The foot lever should be in above the screw of the needle holder.
Stitch length and width parameters should be adjusted according to the type of embroidery or the size of the tear. Start by hemming the fabric tear with a straight stitch to secure the edge of the fabric. Then stitch the center of the tear with a straight or zigzag stitch to fill it. Control the stitching by maneuvering the fabric and moving it back and forth. The sewing speed should be adjusted according to the speed at which the fabric is moved.

Always perform test sewing on an unnecessary scrap of the same material.
