Adjust the stitch length and width parameters according to the type of embroidery or the size of the tear. Start by hemming the fabric tear with a straight stitch to secure the edge of the fabric. Then stitch the center of the tear with a straight or zigzag stitch to fill it. Control the stitching by maneuvering the fabric, moving it forward and backward. Adjust the sewing speed according to the speed of moving the fabric.
