When selecting the size of needles, the rule is simple - always choose the smallest possible size, so as not to unnecessarily perforate the sewn material. However, we must remember that it is the size of the needle that determines the size of the eyelet, and this must be large enough for the thread to move freely.

Remember

Inspect the tip of the needle on a regular basis, watching it for wear. When you notice any signs of damage or wear, replace the needle with a new one. The condition of the needle affects the quality of the stitch, and a damaged needle tip can damage the sewn fabric. Needles should be stored in their original packaging.
