Proper operation of the machine
To ensure proper operation of the machine, use only metal bottom thread bobbins. Using plastic bobbins can lead to malfunction or even damage to the machines.
Lena is all about safety and the joy of learning to sew from scratch
The most important convenience offered by the Lena sewing machine is protection against stabbing little fingers while learning to sew. In order to protect children's hands around the inserted needle, we have installed a special guard, so that as a parent you don't have to worry about the health of your little one when learning to use the machine together.
In addition, on the side of the machine there is a thread cutter in the form of a slot into which you can insert the thread to cut it to the desired length. The cutter on the Lena 2019 is protected by a special cover that prevents it from being touched.
The Lena machine is not a toy, but a full-fledged sewing machine, designed primarily for the youngest sewing enthusiasts. It can be used by children who are at least 8 years old, as long as this will be done under the supervision of an adult, and in advance they have been properly instructed on its safe use.
